The airline industry in Dubai as well as that of the entire world has grown over the last ten years due to increased travel and tourism and this has made a number of companies to expand their branches in every aspect of business, tourism and travel. Fly Dubai has been no exception in this. Thus, this paper analyses the airline industry by focusing on the Fly Dubai’s strategy on a number of aspects, which include the analysis of the airline industry and the firm, identification of possible scenarios of business and corporate strategies, evaluation of the strategy and recommendation and a conclusion of the key points. The company is a low cost alternative for international air travel. It was found by the Dubai government in 2008 and it started operating in 2009. Emirates supported the company at the first establishment phases; however, it was not part of it.
