Description

Organizational success and sustainability depends on its competencies to respond to the changing external environment. The organization requires to bring effective changes in the internal elements such as strategy, structure, system and employee performance, which should be aligned to the need of the market and if ignored can lead to serious business issues. National Finance Co S.A.O.G faces a similar situation wherein the company in spite of being well established and loyal customers is facing reduced profitability. The reduced profitability is due to various internal inefficiencies, which are analyzed in this report using management frameworks. The analysis of the factors is done using systems approach. A systems approach to problem solving takes a holistic approach by considering other factors leading to the issue rather than focusing only on the main issue and addressing it. Hard systems approach involves a structured approach to problem solving wherein problem can be well-defined and a definite solution exists to overcome the problem. Using the various management framework Part A analyzes the factors leading to the issue recommendations are provided to overcome the issues. Part B of the report discusses the management frameworks used to analyze and provide solution to the issues identified. Part C is the reflection of the author of this report about the experience had while carrying out this project.
