This essay discusses the consumer behavior during the time of carnival in Brazil. It profiles two persons, who possess completely different personalities. One is an extrovert believing in physical activities and sensual pleasure. He respects tradition and at the same time ever ready to experience what life has to offer. The other is an introvert, who dwells mostly in his mind. He respects tradition and has very strong conservative nature. He has very altruistic views about life and people. The paper discusses different consumer behavior theories and personality theories based on the two characters. Thus, single event like Brazilian carnival is viewed from totally opposing perspectives by two individuals.
