Description
In the light of psychology, reasoning and problem solving are a part of the mental process and is considered as the most complex of all the intellectual functions. It can be defined as the higher order of cognitive process that requires a great amount of modulation along with some fundamental skills. In day to day life, a person has to solve many problems based on logic reasoning in order to be successful in his life. It is said that memory too plays a significant role in a persons life and it is said that the memory is at the heart of cognitive psychology which deals with the mental processes and the human behavior. This paper analyses the research on reasoning and problem solving & also analyses the research in to memory. It is quite evident that research on the reasoning and problem solving is more important than the research on the memory.
