Today, organizations have to constantly analyse the impact the external forces can have on the organizational performance and bring required changes in the internal environment. Daleel Petroleum Company LLC is an oil exploring and production company and has seen significant growth over the years and has earned increased profits. The organization was able to deliver oil for less and still make profits since it had managed to keep the operational cost minimum by using basic facilities of oil extraction and refining wherein lot of oil got wasted. The organization is now facing the issue of fast depletion of oil, which has raise sustainability issue. The lack of effective strategy and effective processes has led to the existing issue. By diversifying the business within the industry and by installing latest technologies and equipment the organization would be able to sustain and make profit for a long term. Using hard systems approach the identification of factors leading to the issue is done as tit provides a structured approach to problem solving. Management frameworks provide an effective base to identify the gaps in the factors leading to the issue.
