Description
The report presents the two conflicting leadership styles of the executive director and the deputy agency administrator and the organizational issues of Centre Street Settlement House.Both leadership styles were compared by considering the impact and effectiveness it has on the subordinates.One leadership style is autocratic and the other leadership style is participative.The organizational issues of work overload ,job design,empowerment,reward structure were thoroughly analyzed and alternative solutions with pros and cons of each solutions are provided.At the end it is concluded that participatory leadership style is more efficient for centre settlement house than autocratic leadership style and it is recommended that the executive director should be fired,new post to be created to share deputy agency administrator work load and pay for performance reward structure should be implemented.
