Description
This report is aimed at understanding the importance of line managers in effective implementation of the HR Strategies. It critically evaluates the question “Can line mangers and HR specialists form successful partnerships which might lead to improved organizational performance?”. The report will draw on the academic literature. Various authors, researchers and experts in the field have time and again attempted to answer this question. In order to answer the primary question, various other questions are raised and answered. First the HRM and Role of Line managers are briefed. Then the need for such a partnership and the hindrances for forming such a partnership are addressed. Then finally how the performance of the organization is improved due to the partnership is briefed. Based on all the above arguments a conclusion is drawn answering the primary objective.
