Description
After recruitment and selection, next step is induction. When new employee connects an organization, he adopts new superior, different policy, procedures, novel culture, a new atmosphere, system etc. This process of acceptance is generally known induction or orientation. According to Michael Armstrong, “Induction is the process of receiving and welcoming an employee when he first joins a company and giving him basic information he needs to settle down quickly and happily and start work.” (Michael Armstrong. 1989)
