Today’s organization is compelled to sustain and grow in the competitive environment. The organisation is trying to follow scientific methods of the organisational behaviour which results in the effective organisational culture. In the process of managing the teams, the managers play a vital role (Cokins 2009). Needless to say each manager is adapting their own management styles to get their work done. Management styles are the unique way in which the decisions are made and it is the style in which the manager is relating to his subordinated. They depend on the organisational culture, specific nature of the organisation, specific nature of the workforce. It also depends on the skills and the personality of the managers. This paper analyses the implications of the different management styles.
