Description
Global well being can be measured by many indicators, out of which the women’s right can be said to be the best indicator. Though many of the institution claim that the women right has already been established and that the women are empowered, still there are many issues to be tackled, and these areas ranges from cultural, political to economic. A classic example for the existence of the prejudice against women is that in many places still, they are paid less than men for the same work. It is a pity that the gender discrimination is forced upon the girls and they have to tolerate this burden throughout their life time. Research clearly indicates that the girls and women are the ones who suffer the poverty more than the men folk (Heilman, Martell, and Simon 2000). This paper explores the prejudice against women in every area of their life such as jobs, relationships, politics and so on.
