Description
Leadership is a process wherein an individual influences group of people to recognize their potentials and using them work collaboratively in achieving the shared objectives. Leadership has various components and some of them are leadership is a process, which involves achievement of goal within the context of a group and the goal is shared by all in the group including the leader and leadership is a process of influencing others. Good leaders influence the followers to realize their goals and abilities and inspire them to work towards achieving those goals. There are different leadership styles, which have emerged based on the followers intellectual and emotional level and each situation requires to be led by a different type of leader. The report analyses the leadership approach of Abraham Lincoln, who is the most effective leader in the world and was the 16th President of United States of America.
