Description
Leadership today is one of the most essential factor in organizational success. A true leader influences and directs like-minded people to work collaboratively in achieving the desired goals and objectives. Few leaders are born with inherent qualities, which are further enhanced by gaining new skills, knowledge and experiences whereas others with a positive attitude become leaders through their experience and training. One such example of a leader born with inherent qualities was Lee Iacocca who with his effective leadership skills went on to perform extraordinarily at Ford and Chrysler. The paper discusses the leadership capabilities of Lee Iacocca and also critically analyzes his leadership style using the leadership theories.
