Leadership can be defined as the art of motivating group of people or individuals towards achieving shared objectives by utilizing full potential of the leader and the followers (Bass & Riggio, 2005). The contemporary leadership is considered as a social process that involves both leaders and followers interacting and working together to achieve common interests and mutually defined objectives (Winkler, 2009). Contemporary leadership theories emphasize on inclusion and sharing responsibilities, which strengthens organizational competencies and enable it to respond to different challenges and opportunities effectively.
