Description
The values of leadership and the methods followed by leaders have dramatically changed over the past few decades. With an increase in the spread of democracy and free thinking, it is no longer thought necessary that autocratic leadership is required in order to effectively complete jobs. The effects have been in far reaching fields such as industry, army and even education (Cooper et al, 2003). Below, transformational leadership is chosen and is briefly discussed. Its effect on the service and educational fields is also briefed relating to my work as a service agent in The Heathrow Airport and as a student doing MA in university.
